Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Fishing Club AI mobile application ("the App"), operated by Codersnap LLC. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. Where required, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. The service

The App provides fishing-related information: bite forecasts, weather and marine conditions, depth visualizations, AI-generated answers, fish photo identification, shop listings and a community feed. Content is provided for general recreational guidance only.

2. Subscriptions

• Some features require a paid Fishing Club Pro subscription (monthly or yearly), purchased through your Apple account.
• Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Payment is charged to your Apple account. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
• Prices may change; changes apply from the next billing period after notice.

3. Safety and no-navigation disclaimer

• Depth maps and marine data are approximate and must not be used for navigation, anchoring, diving or any safety-critical decision. Always use official charts and follow local maritime authorities.
• Forecasts (including BiteScore) and AI-generated answers are estimates and may be wrong. Weather on the water can be dangerous — check official sources before heading out.
• Fish identification is automated and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for complying with local fishing laws, licenses, seasons, size and bag limits, including correct species identification.

4. Your content

• You keep ownership of content you post (catches, photos, comments) and grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display it within the App.
• Do not post content that is illegal, abusive, misleading, infringing, or that reveals other people's personal information.
• We may remove content or restrict devices that violate these rules.

5. Acceptable use

• No scraping, reverse engineering, or abusive automated access to the App or its APIs.
• No use of the App to violate fishing regulations or protected-area rules.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, or uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codersnap LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on forecasts, depth data, AI answers or other App content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Sections 3, 4, 6 and 7 survive termination.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
